Kids ATV

Although kids may not possess driving license but they love to drive ATVs. Nearly 0.2 million Kids ATV are sold every year in US alone. While adults are more concerned with the safety features whereas kids give preference to style and look while choosing ATVs.

To satisfy the taste and preference of both kids and youths, manufacturers are developing models that possess unique safety features, special graphics, colors and accessories that excite even the young riders. To cater the needs of the kids they even provide gear and accessories that matches the color and design of their ATV.

Manufacturers do realize their social responsibility and do encourage safe riding habits by manufacturing helmets that matches the color and design of the ATV and even install speed governors that allows the parents to adjust the speed of the vehicle according to the age of their kids. Adults can drive the ATV's up to the maximum speed while kids in the age range of six to twelve can have the maximum speed up to 15mph and those above 12 years of age but below 18 can drive at a maximum speed of 30 mph. The innovative device allows the parents to keep a tab on the speed and allow them to enhance the speed potential of ATV's as their kid grows older.

With ergonomic design; controls to proportionally match arms, legs, hands and feet; and automatic transmissions; ATVs can easily be operated by kids. The additional safety features, like running lights and flags, enhances visibility and prevent accidents.

To keep your kids safe while driving an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) you need to adhere to the following guidelines:

1. Instruct and guide young riders properly.

2. Do keep in mind that ATVs are not toys; confine your kid to a safe area and allow him to drive the vehicle in a definite area.

3. Adjust the speed of the vehicle according to the age of the kid and strictly adhere to the safety guidelines.

4. Wear personal safety gear at all times.

5. In no circumstances allow your kid to drive ATV on paved roads.

6. Keep a strict eye on your kids while they are driving their ATV and never allow them to perform any kind of stunts or drive at excessive speed.

7. Do inspect the ATV's regularly and make sure they are in perfect condition.
